A quiet hotel at the edge of Tokyo
AKE 明け is a quiet house imagined at the edge of Tokyo — a place built around the hour before the city wakes.
Concrete, hinoki and still water; light that arrives slowly and asks for nothing. Five spaces, one atmosphere, conceived entirely as visual concept before a single wall exists.
A hotel that doesn't exist — photographed as if it always had.
